Q: How long
have you been in business?
A: CMI was founded in 1995 and our founder has
been remodeling homes for over 20 years. Additionally,
we have many craftsmen on our staff that have been in the
construction business for many, many years. We recently
moved from our Bentonville location to our new office
off of Wagon Wheel Road, Springdale, AR.
Q: Are you a member of any
remodeler associations?
A: Yes, we are a member of
HBA, Home Builders Association.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, we are fully insured to cover any
accidents or other problems that may arise on a jobsite.
Q: Do you specialize in particular
types of projects?
A: Yes, we specialize in total home remodels, and
room additions. If interested in new construction refer
to our residential or commercial tabs.
Q: Do I have to file for a building
permit?
A: You can if you want to, but CMI will handle
filing for all building permits as a free service for
you.
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: We honor our work and materials in
coordination with the manufacturers warranty for one
year after the work is complete. If its not right, we'll
fix it.
Q: Will work with me on the timing
of my remodel?
A: Absolutely! CMI can typically come out to give
you an estimate within a few days and we have enough
craftsmen employed to start work within the following
three weeks. If you want to get an estimate and then
wait several months, such as right after the holidays,
we can schedule it.
Q: How can I get in touch with you
during my remodel?
A: All of our project managers carry cell phones
with them and they will provide that number to you when
we start the remodel. You can call them any time you
need.
Q: How safe is my jobsite during a
remodel?
A: Construction sites can be inherently dangerous
given the increased traffic, large trucks and such. CMI
takes every precaution to ensure that potentially
dangerous areas are clearly marked and roped off. We
keep our equipment and materials as far away as possible
from the areas frequented by you and your family to
ensure maximum safety.
Q: What happens if the Costs are
more than you estimated?
A: Cost overruns can happen in a remodeling job.
Hiring an experienced remodeler like CMI can help to
mitigate "surprises" during the job which is typically
what causes cost overruns. We have had very few jobs
where our quoted cost needed adjustment. If we do find
something that may increase the costs with the remodel
we communicate this with you, show you exactly the
problem and what needs to be done to correct the
problem.
Q: What if I want to change
something in the design?
A: Occasionally, people change their mind, think
of a new feature or different way they'd like something
done. We welcome homeowners to discuss their thoughts
about changes in the remodel with us. The point is to
get exactly what you want and we're here to help. |
